Fountain Paint Pot—Yellowstone National Park

Additional considerations: Bison on trails, boardwalks may be icy in winter, road closed to wheeled vehicles in winter, high elevation
Description: Short loop on boardwalks accesses all four geothermal features: geysers, hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots.  Trailhead located in Lower Geyser Basin north of Old Faithful and included as a stop on northbound snow coach tour to Mammoth Hot Springs.
