Lightfeather Hot Springs—Gila National Forest
Location: north of Silver City, New Mexico

Description: Less than a mile down the trail there is a shallow pool where 150-degree hot springs combine with cool river water; a great place to relax and watch (and listen to) wildlife.

  1. Yikes! The Javelina is enough to keep me away! They look scary,,,but I would like to see the giant bullfrogs.
