Denali National Park
Location: 2 hours southwest of Fairbanks, Alaska

Major draws: Wildlife, scenic views, highest peak in North America
Strenuosity: 0 out of 10
Cost/Fees: $10 per person or free with America the Beautiful pass
Additional considerations: Private vehicles not allowed past Mile 15 of park road, campsites and morning shuttle buses typically sold out in advance
Description: There is very little chance to see the highest peak in North America (20,310 feet) in the summer, but the shuttle buses do offer great opportunities to see wildlife up close, including moose, Dall sheep, brown bears, and caribou.
